DAKO Worldwide Transport GmbH recently completed the coordinated movement of more than 10,000 freight tons of oversized industrial equipment for the global mining industry. The operation involved a combination of road, inland waterway, and sea transport, as well as port handling and the chartering of several part-charter vessels.
The cargo originated from Europe, Asia, and Australia, requiring synchronized logistics planning across multiple continents. Among the transported components were mill shell sections weighing more than 100 tons each, with dimensions of 11.55 meters in length, 7.55 meters in width, and 3.65 meters in height.
