As per 1st of February 2011 Mr Patrick van Eerten will join Jumbo as Director Operations & Offshore. Patrick’s broad experience started with a Nautical career with the Royal Dutch Navy followed with Design and General Management tasks at De Voogt Naval Architects. His next career steps were in the Oil & Gas industry as Operational Manager with Heerema Marine Contractors and General Manager for a Stork Company providing Offshore services. At present he’s living in Canada working for Trylon as Chief Operating Officer.
Patrick will be the successor of Mr Dirk Leenheer. Dirk’s main focus was further development of the Offshore activities within Jumbo and optimizing internal processes. Besides that, he contributed in bringing Safety awareness and behaviour to a next level.
Hand-over will be in the first weeks of February. We want to thank Dirk for all his efforts and like to welcome Patrick and wish him a lot of success in his new role.
