More icebreakers operating in Danish waters
Nordane Shipping has chartered out a second icebreaker to the Danish naval command for service in the Limfjord. The icebreaker in question is the Stevns Icebird, which has been stationed in the entrance to the Limfjord, a place where ice traditionally is giving trouble for shipping. Since early December, Nordane Shipping has had the icebreaker Stevns working in the western part of the Limfjord covering the waters from Aalborg to Thyborøn.
