Police say terror group planned to attack Chevron Indonesia
An Islamist terror group on Indonesia's Sumatra island planned to attack foreign workers at unit of Chevron Corp's as well as ambush tourists, a police official told Reuters on Monday.
Indonesia has killed or detained scores of militants since the bomb attacks on the resort island of Bali in 2002, though police and security experts have warned about potential threats to foreign and government targets from newly formed groups.
