Upgrading of ship laws urged

Muntinlupa Rep. Rodolfo Biazon has pushed for the upgrading of the shipping laws as well as the creation of a maritime code.
The senator-turned-congressman filed House Bill 1155 seeking to iron out laws concerning the registration of ships, ship mortgages, maritime fraud, accidents at sea, and ship owner's liabilities.
