Keppel FELS secures US$180m contract

Keppel Corp said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Keppel FELS has secured an order worth US$180 million to build a jackup rig for Norwegian firm Standard Drilling, a subsidiary of Norwegian investment company, Ferncliff Group.

Russian, Ukrainian leaders to talk industry and energy in Moscow

The Presidents of Russia and Ukraine, Dmitry Medvedev and Viktor Yanukovych, will meet in Moscow on Friday to discuss cooperation in trade, industry and energy.
"Cooperation in the gas industry is developing mostly in a conflict-free manner," presidential aide Sergei Prikhodko said. "[But] the huge amount of gas deliveries and transit means its necessary for the heads of states and governments to pay constant attention to the issue."
