Hungary MOL ends test of oil well in Iraqi Kurdistan



BUDAPEST Nov 8 (Reuters) - Hungarian oil and gas group MOL(MOLB.BU: Quote) said on Monday that it has finished the testing of its first well in the Akri-Bijeel Block in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, during which it found both oil and gas.
MOL, which conducts tests in the Iraqi block jointly with Gulf Keystone Petroleum, with MOL having an 80 percent share as operator, said the exploration of the block would enter the next phase which would also involve capex investment.
