Hanjin Heavy set to axe more staff
Korea's Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction, which carried out a large-scale restructuring at the beginning of the year, is planning to make another round of redundancies, with 400 employees set to go, creating strong opposition from its union members. Hanjin sent to its labour union an official letter of 'an announcement of restructuring plan for company's survival and request to attend a bargaining related to the labour adjustment' last Wednesday.
