Nigeria approves national shipping carrier

The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has been given approval to establish a national carrier, a top government official has said.
Minister of Transport Yusuf Suleiman told a news conference in Abuja on Friday that a national carrier would redress the problem of low indigenous participation in international shipping business.
