Statoil's Oseberg East to restart on Wed after leak

Statoil's (STL.OL: Quote) Oseberg East oil platform in the Norwegian North Sea, shut on Tuesday after a gas leak, was expected to return to production on Wednesday afternoon, the company said.

Statoil spokesman Oerjan Heradstveit said the leak occurred at 0816 GMT on Tuesday and that the situation "normalised" within the hour.
