Cosco secures over $113m in new orders

Cosco (Guangdong) Shipyard, subsidiary of Cosco Corp (Singapore), has won contracts worth over $113m to build special purpose carriers. The deal includes three firm contracts following receipt of initial deposits from an undisclosed European shipowner, and one option to be exercised by the shipowner by the end of June 2011.
