Has economic gloom created a sea safety boom?



The Lloyd’s List Intelligence Casualty service shows that there was a large fall in shipping casualties last year, with overall global incidents down by 8% and worldwide ship sinking incidents falling by more than 30% as compared with 2009 figures.
