Japan to offer Q2 HRC exports to South Korea at USD 1000 FOB

TEX reported that some Japanese integrated steelmakers are thought to have offered their HR coil exports to South Korea at USD 1,000 per tonne FOB for shipments in the April to June 2011 quarter, negotiations on which have started this week. It is understood that the offer price amounts to an increase of USD 250 to USD 300 per tonne on the existing contract prices of HR coil exports to South Korea.
