CIC: Successful Repair of M.V. “Solntse Vostoka”

Recently, the motor vessel “Solntse Vostoka” has smoothly departed from CIC Lixin Shipyard after all repair jobs well done. CIC Lixin shipyard obtained high appreciation from the owners’ representatives and ship’s owner for its repair period, good quality, safety arrangement and business hospitality.
M.V. “Solntse Vostoka” is a bulk carrier owned by MARINE LOGISTICS, which is registered in Hong Kong and mainly engaged in Russia shipping market, owning several vessels of different types. As a good client with powerful strength and high credit, it has frequent cooperation with us in recent years.
The vessel arrived at shipyard’s premises on Feb. 24, 2011. Her main work scope was routine dry-docking, hull treatment, steel renewal and maintenance of hatch covers, main engine and auxiliary engines overhauling, deck crane repair and etc. Since the full preparation has been made in advance, the shipyard carried out all repair jobs in full swing upon her arrival. The owner raised many additional jobs during the repair, including several high-technical projects which will affect the repair period negatively. In line with the principle of “The ship owner’s requirement is what we always pursue”, all levels of the shipyard management paid high attention to this project and arranged more labor force. All professional staff coordinated closely with each other, promoted the efficiency to the utmost, and ensured the accomplishment of all repair work in due time.
