In a fleet wide deal the 23 vessels with SEVSAT already installed has been signed for another three years along with the four new buildings scheduled to be launched in 2011 and 2012.
“We are very satisfied with the overall performance of the SEVSAT system from Ship Equip” says Technical Director Espen Sorensen. “We have used the system since 2006 and find it very reliable with a good uptime and otherwise performing to expectations. Ship Equip also has a network of service engineers that in our experience do a good job” Mr Sorensen concludes.
“Working with Deep Sea Supply and Espen Sørensen has been both rewarding and challenging” says Sindre Alnes, Sales Manager at Ship Equip. Since the first installation with Deep Sea Supply in 2006, Ship Equip has grown considerably, and the product has developed as well. The contract we signed now is for a much improved product compared to 5 years ago. I believe we are now truly capable of supporting Deep Sea Supply in their global operation Mr. Alnes concludes.
In a comment CEO Ivar Nesset adds: “We are pleased that long time customers like Deep Sea Supply renew their commitment with us. For a fast growing company like Ship Equip it is important to maintain its focus on delivering a high quality service to our existing customers. We believe that Deep Sea Supply extending their fleet contract for another 3 years is indicating that we have succeeded in doing that.
