Bisected outlooks on newbuild prices
Contradictory outlooks on a future ship price are being raised, some expecting a re-drop while others prospecting a continuous upward trend.
One of the main reasons for the re-drop expectation is an imbalance of supply and demand. A recession of the shipping market situation triggered by the mass completion of newbuildings would encourage shipowners to cut down the ship prices.
