Half of ownership interest of STX Helsinki shipyard likely to be sold to Russia

South Korean shipbuilding company STX is selling half of its ownership interest in the Helsinki shipyard to the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC), owned by the Russian government.
According to the Finnish Broadcasting Company (YLE), the contract of sale will be signed today, Friday, in St. Petersburg in connection with a meeting between the Finnish Prime Minister Mari Kiviniemi (Centre Party) and her Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
