Chevron in Talks With Indonesia on Drilling Rights Extension
Chevron Corp., the second-biggest U.S. oil company, said it’s in talks with the Indonesian government on extending its drilling rights at a block in southern Sumatra.
The explorer, based in San Ramon, California, is seeking to extend drilling rights at the Siak oil block expiring in 2013, Gareth Johnstone, a Chevron spokesman based in Singapore, said by e-mail.
