Ropes made with Dyneema®, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), are being successfully used to secure rigs, Mobile Offshore Drilling Units (MODUs), Buoyant Turret Mooring (BTM) systems and similar constructions in the offshore oil and gas industry.
