Japan has 71 ships to build at the beginning of the year
The combined newbuilding output of Japan's major 52 shipbuilders during December 2010 came to 28 ships of 1.2m GT, totally worth JPY125.1bn (US$112m). There were 71 ships of 2.3m GT started to be built, according to Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT). The delivered 28 ships include 2 domestic ships and 26 export ship.
