Shipping ministry comes to 18 stranded sailors' help

CHENNAI: Union shipping ministry on Tuesday asked the Chennai Port Trust to immediately provide food for 18 starving sailors on board MV Bien Nam, a Vietnamese vessel. The 'dead vessel' has been stranded outside Chennai port since August 2010.The instruction comes a day after TOI reported the plight of the sailors.
