Aker to use Expro connectors offshore Brazil

Aker Solutions in Brazil has contracted Expro Connectors & Measurements to supply medium-power subsea electrical connections. The systems are destined for either new subsea boosting systems from satellite wells (MoBOs). Delivery is to last over the next eight months. 
The MoBOs are a new technology in which a satellite well is prepared to accommodate the unit and has a pumping system that can be bypassed if the pump needs intervention, without stopping the production flow from the well.
