Baosteel’s Shipbuilding Plates Sales May Exceed 1.4M Tons

Baoshan Iron and Steel (600019) may sell a record high of more than 1.4 million tons of shipbuilding plates in 2010, reports yicai.com, citing a release of Baosteel Group Corporation, parent of the listed company.
Baoshan Iron and Steel sold 1.36 million tons of shipbuilding plates in 2009 and had a 7.8 percent domestic market share, according to the company’s 2009 annual report.
