PetroChina starts running massive Qinzhou crude storage
PetroChina started trial operations of a massive crude oil storage in southern Guangxi region, part of China's efforts to build up oil stockpiles to improve ability to cope with any potential supply shocks.
The 42 crude oil tanks, each with capacity of 100,000 cubic metres, were a portion of PetroChina's <0857.HK> <601857.SS> <PTR.N> first phase of 10 million cubic metres of storage tanks in a bonded area in Qinzhou, according to a report by the official Xinhua news agency.
